Services & Repairs
What kinds of vehicles do you work on?
We service most makes and models of cars, light-duty trucks, SUVs, and crossovers — domestic and import. Our techs work on everything from routine oil changes to engine, transmission, exhaust, brake, and suspension work.
If you are unsure whether your vehicle fits our shop, give us a call at (603) 825-3815 and we will tell you straight before you make the trip.
Do you handle exhaust work and custom fabrication?
Yes. We do everything from cat-back installs and catalytic converter replacement to full TIG-welded custom builds in-house — not just bolt-on kits. We tune systems to fit your vehicle and how you actually drive.
See our exhaust services page for examples and pricing direction.
Can you diagnose intermittent or complex electrical issues?
Yes. Reading a code only tells you which system flagged an issue — not why it is happening. We use professional-grade scanners plus live data, component testing, and hands-on experience to find the real cause.
That is the difference between fixing the problem once and chasing symptoms. Learn more on our diagnostics page.
Can you handle major engine, transmission, or suspension work?
Yes. Brake, engine, transmission, suspension, and welding repair are all part of our day-to-day work. Every job uses OEM-quality parts and is backed by our 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty.
See our full repair services for the breakdown.
Do you do tire installation or alignments?
Tire pressure checks and tire-related diagnostics are standard with our oil-change and inspection services. For full tire mount/balance and alignment availability, please call us before your appointment so we can confirm equipment and timing for your vehicle. Confirm
Do you work on hybrids or electric vehicles?
We can handle conventional service and repairs on most hybrids (brakes, suspension, fluids, 12V battery). For high-voltage system work or full EV diagnostics, give us a call so we can tell you what is in scope for your specific vehicle. Confirm
What if my vehicle isn't drivable?
Call us first at (603) 825-3815. We will help coordinate so your vehicle ends up at our shop and queued for diagnosis. If you already have a tow service, ask them to deliver to 15 Central St, Unit B, Derry, NH 03038; we will meet you here during business hours.
Pricing & Estimates
How much does an oil change cost?
Oil changes start at $89.95, which covers up to 5 quarts of conventional or synthetic oil, an OEM-spec filter, a multi-point courtesy inspection, fluid level checks, and a tire pressure check.
Vehicles requiring more than 5 quarts are billed at $8.95 per additional quart. We will confirm the exact total before we start work.
How much do brakes cost?
Brake jobs start at $299 per axle. That includes premium brake pad installation, rotor resurfacing or replacement, caliper inspection and service, brake fluid level check, and a post-repair test drive.
Final cost depends on your vehicle and the parts that fit it. We provide a written estimate first and only move forward with your approval.
Do you give written estimates before starting work?
Always. After we inspect the issue, you get a written estimate with parts and labor broken out. Nothing gets fixed until you approve it — no exceptions, no surprise add-ons.
If we discover something else mid-repair, we stop, call you, and walk you through it before any extra work happens.
Is there a charge for diagnostics?
Quick code reads and brake inspections are typically free. Full diagnostics — live data, component testing, electrical work — involve technician time, so a fee may apply depending on what your vehicle needs. We always tell you up front before any diagnostic work starts.
If you proceed with the repair, that diagnostic time is often credited toward the job. Call (603) 825-3815 and we will give you a straight answer for your specific issue.
Are there hidden fees or shop charges?
No surprises. Your estimate breaks out parts, labor, and any disposal or shop supply fees that apply, so what you see is what you pay. If anything changes, we contact you first.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards, plus cash. For exact accepted cards and any financing options, please call (603) 825-3815. Confirm cards / financing
Scheduling & Drop-off
Do I need an appointment?
Yes — we operate by appointment only so every vehicle gets dedicated technician time. We are open daily 8am–6pm and frequently have same-day availability.
Call (603) 825-3815 or use the contact form to book.
What are your hours?
We are open every day, Mon–Sun, 8am–6pm, by appointment only. After-hours arrivals can sometimes be coordinated for drop-off — let us know in advance.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Three easy ways:
• Call us at (603) 825-3815 — usually fastest.
• Email support@vorenzarentals.com.
• Fill out the form on our contact page — we typically respond within one business day.
Can I drop my car off the night before?
Early drop-offs and after-hours key drop can usually be arranged when scheduling — call ahead so we can confirm timing and where to leave keys safely. Confirm key-drop process
How long will my repair take?
Most standard repairs are completed within one to two business days. Quick services (oil change, brake inspection) are often same-day. We give you a realistic completion window when we provide your written estimate, and update you if anything changes.
Do you offer loaner vehicles or shuttle service?
For longer repairs, we can often coordinate transportation options — including rental availability through our sister business, Vorenza Rentals. Mention this when you schedule and we will work it out with you. Confirm shuttle availability
What should I bring to my appointment?
Just yourself, your keys, and any prior records or estimates that might help us understand the history. If you have noticed specific noises, warning lights, or behaviors — jot them down or take a quick video. The more context, the faster we can pinpoint the issue.
Maintenance Intervals
How often should I get an oil change?
Most vehicles need an oil change every 5,000 to 7,500 miles, though the ideal interval depends on the oil type your vehicle uses and how you drive. We check your manufacturer's recommendations and help you find the right schedule to keep your engine protected.
How often should I rotate my tires?
A common rule of thumb is every 5,000–7,500 miles — many drivers pair it with their oil change so they only have to remember one interval. Uneven wear or the vehicle pulling to one side under braking can also signal it is time. We will tell you when we see it during a service.
How do I know if my brakes need replacing?
Common warning signs include squealing or grinding noises, a soft or pulsating brake pedal, longer stopping distances, or the vehicle pulling to one side when stopping. Bring it in for a brake inspection — we will assess the pads and rotors before recommending any work.
What does a check-engine light mean?
A check-engine light can indicate anything from a loose gas cap to a failing catalytic converter. We use professional-grade diagnostic scanners to read the exact fault codes and pinpoint the issue before recommending any repairs.
If the light is flashing — not steady — reduce speed and call us; that usually means the issue could damage the engine or catalyst quickly.
When should I service fluids like coolant or transmission fluid?
It depends heavily on the vehicle. Many manufacturers recommend coolant flushes every 30,000–60,000 miles and transmission fluid services on a similar or longer interval. Our multi-point inspection flags fluids that are out of spec so you can plan ahead instead of reacting to a problem.
How do I know if my battery needs replacing?
Slow starts, electrical glitches, or batteries older than 4–5 years are common warning signs — especially after New Hampshire winters, which are hard on batteries. We can test your battery and charging system in minutes and tell you exactly where you stand.
Should I follow my owner's manual schedule or my dashboard reminder?
Both are useful, and they often roughly agree. Your owner's manual gives you the manufacturer's baseline; the dashboard reminder factors in your driving conditions. We compare both to your actual usage and condition to recommend a schedule that fits how you drive in southern NH.
Warranty & Quality
Do you warranty your work?
Yes — every repair we perform is backed by a 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty on parts and labor. If something covered fails within that window, bring the vehicle back and we will make it right at no extra cost.
Are your technicians certified?
Yes — our technicians are ASE-certified, with ongoing training to keep up with newer systems. Every repair is performed by experienced hands who have seen the issue before.
Do you use OEM parts or aftermarket?
We use OEM and high-quality aftermarket parts depending on what fits your vehicle, your goals, and your budget. We discuss options with you before ordering anything — you decide what goes on your car.
For more on this trade-off, see our blog post on OEM vs. aftermarket parts.
What if a repair fails inside the warranty window?
Bring the vehicle back. If the failure is covered by our 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty, we re-do the work at no charge to you. Just call (603) 825-3815 first so we can pull your records and slot you in quickly.
Will using an independent shop void my manufacturer warranty?
Generally, no. Federal law (the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act) protects your right to have routine maintenance and qualifying repairs done at an independent shop without losing your manufacturer warranty, as long as quality parts and proper procedures are used — which is exactly how we work. Always check your specific warranty terms if you have questions.
How do you make sure a repair is done right?
Every job ends with a post-repair inspection and a test drive before you pick up. We walk you through what was done so you can drive away knowing what changed and why — not just collect a key.
About Vorenza

We are at 15 Central St, Unit B, Derry, NH 03038. Easy access from Route 28 and I-93. See directions on our contact page.
What areas do you serve?
Customers regularly come to us from Derry, Londonderry, Hampstead, Windham, Manchester, and the surrounding southern New Hampshire towns. If you can get to us, we can help you.
How long has Vorenza been in business?
Vorenza Auto Repair has been serving Derry and southern NH since 2022 as an independent, owner-operated shop — not a chain. Our focus has always been on straight answers, honest estimates, and repairs that actually fix the problem.
Are you affiliated with Vorenza Rentals or Avid Auto Detailing?
Yes — Vorenza Rentals and Avid Auto Detailing are sister businesses we partner with. So when your vehicle is in for service, we can usually help with rentals or detailing as well. Confirm exact relationship wording
Do you offer NH state inspections?
We are not a New Hampshire state inspection station. We do offer multi-point courtesy inspections, pre-purchase inspections, and brake inspections — all of which catch the same kinds of safety and wear issues. For an official state safety inspection, you will need to visit a licensed inspection station.
Do you have a blog with maintenance tips?
We do. Check out our blog for guides on synthetic vs. conventional oil, OEM vs. aftermarket parts, and seasonal posts like spring pothole inspection in Derry.
